This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Policy”) discloses the privacy and data protection practices of KOA VANS and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “we”, “We”, “our”, and “us”) when you visit our websites, mobile-optimized version of our websites, and our digital applications (“Sites”). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by Sites, except where stated otherwise. It will notify you of the following:

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. Unless otherwise indicated elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we only have access to/collect information that is provided voluntarily by you on our website, via email, or over the phone.

Categories of personally identifiable information collected by us and their purpose are identified in Appendix A to this Privacy Policy and we may use this information to keep you informed about our services, to provide any services you request from us, or for such other business or lawful purpose that is reasonably connected to our services.

Additionally, the Web server hosting Sites collects, at least temporarily, the following information: [Internet Protocol (IP) address of computer being used; Web pages requested; referring Web page; browser used; date and time]. This information is collected to monitor your navigation of our Web pages. We may use browser-IP-address information and anonymous-browser history to report information about site accesses and for profiling purposes. This information is generally used to improve Web presentation and utilization. We also may use IP address information for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Social media information (which may include contact information, photos, location, user generated content, demographic information) if you link your account or access the services through a third-party connection or log-in, we may have access to any information you provide to that social network depending on your privacy settings such as your name, email address, friend list, photo, gender, location, and current city; and information you provide to us directly through our pages on social networking and blogging platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WordPress, and Twitter)

Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Device information and identifiers such as IP address; browser type and language; operating system; platform type; device type; software and hardware attributes; and unique device, advertising, and app identifiers;

  • Audit consumer interactions on the Sites including to measure the placement, frequency, efficacy and compliance of advertising and ad impressions

Aggregate and/or De-Identified Information

We may aggregate or anonymize information and/or de-identify any information collected through the Sites so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device (“Aggregate/De-Identified Information”). We may use this Aggregate/De-Identified Information for any purpose permitted under the law, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes, and disclose such information to third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners, and sponsors in our sole discretion.

Disclosure of Collected Information

We will not disclose or share, without your consent, personally identifiable information, except for certain explicit circumstances in which disclosure may be required by law. Your personally identifiable information will not be distributed or sold to third-party organizations.

We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. Other than as identified in this Privacy Policy, We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, such as to fulfill an order or provide any such service which you may ask us to fulfill from time to time.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy.

Online Analytics and Advertising

Delivery of Advertising and Other Content. In addition to ads and content that we serve you directly, We may use third party advertising companies and marketing services to serve ads and other content when you visit the Sites, as well as on other websites you visit and other applications you use. The ads may be based on various factors such as the content of the page you are visiting, your searches, demographic data, user-generated content, and other information we collect from you. We may also use Google Analytics on this site to improve our Sites and for business-related goals.

We neither have access to, nor does this Privacy Policy govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on the device you use to access the Sites by such non-affiliated third parties.

To opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or customize Google display network ads, visit the Google Ads Settings page. We do not control these opt-out links or whether any particular company chooses to participate in these opt-out programs. We are not responsible for any choices you make using these mechanisms or the continued availability or accuracy of these mechanisms.

Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law

California and federal laws provide protection against discrimination if you belong to a protected class. Protected classes include groupings based on race, ethnicity, or national origin; family status; age (such as the elderly); and whether you have a disability. We do not request information about whether our customers belong to a protected class. Although We may collect personal information relevant to the provision of our services, We do not use that information to infer whether you belong to a protected group.

Personal information described in Section 1798.80(e): The California Consumer Privacy Act requires that we tell you whether we collect any personal information that is described in California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e). The Code section includes a broad variety of categories of personal information, such as name, contact information, physical characteristics, credit card or billing information, health or medical information, and more. We collect personal information described in Section 1798.80(e). Some of this information is already described in the categories in this Privacy Policy.

California Privacy Rights

California consumers have a right to knowledge, access, and deletion of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act. California consumers also have a right to opt out of the sale of their personal information by a business and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising one of their California privacy rights. We do not sell the personal information of California consumers and We do not discriminate in response to privacy rights requests.

Do Not Track

We do not track our customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Third parties that have content embedded on our Sites such as a social feature or Google Analytics may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific our website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from our websites unless you provide it to them directly.

Commercial Information

We collect and maintain a record of your transactions with Us, such as the products or services that you have purchased. We share this information with our service providers for our business purposes, for example, to process transactions that you have requested. We also share certain commercial information with third parties, such as credit card companies, in order to process your transactions.

Registration

In order to use this website, a user may first be required to complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

Marketing Emails. If you want to stop receiving promotional e-mails from us, click on the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional email from us. We may still communicate with you from time to time if we need to provide you with transaction information about the Services you are using, if we need to request information from you with respect to a transaction initiated by you, or for other legitimate non-marketing reasons, for example, if we update this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service.

SMS Text Communications. You may opt-out of SMS messages from us by following the instructions provided in the message or by texting back STOP to the number we send the text from for that particular SMS message. When we receive an opt-out message from you for SMS messages, we may send a message confirming our receipt of your opt-out.

Retention of Your Information

The Sites are for a general audience and are not designed or intended for use by children, especially those under age thirteen (13) or sixteen (16) in the EU. Transfer Information to the United States
